Marketing and Branding for Educational Furniture & Interior Design Company
Overview
This project was focused on developing a comprehensive marketing strategy and creating print and digital materials for Family Friendly Home, a furniture and interiors design company that specializes in creating educational, child-centered spaces for both homes and commercial environments. The company integrates education specialists into their design process, ensuring that each space is not only functional but also supports children’s development and learning. In addition to designing physical spaces, the company also provides parent education through marketing campaigns that help families understand how to create nurturing, educational environments. I was tasked with creating a series of print and digital marketing materials to promote these services and engage the target audience.








Project Scope
I designed and developed a range of marketing materials that would help the company communicate its unique value proposition and engage with both parents and commercial clients. The project included:
Print Marketing Materials:
Created a set of print materials that included postcards and rack cards designed to highlight the company’s services and educational approach. These materials were distributed to potential clients, partner organizations, and at local events to help spread awareness and promote the company’s offerings. The designs emphasized the combination of stylish, functional furniture and educational value for children, showcasing the company’s expertise in creating spaces that support both play and learning.
Social Media Graphics:
Developed a series of social media templates and graphics to help the company maintain a consistent and engaging online presence. The social media content focused on educating parents and commercial clients about the benefits of well-designed, educational spaces for children. Posts included tips, design inspiration, educational resources, and before-and-after transformations to encourage engagement and drive traffic to the company’s website.
Parent Education Campaign:
The company’s educational approach extended beyond just the physical design of spaces. I helped create a series of marketing materials to educate parents about how to foster learning environments at home. This included digital flyers, infographics, and email templates that provided tips on organizing spaces, choosing educational furniture, and integrating learning activities into everyday home life. These materials were designed to position Family Friendly Home as an expert in both design and parenting education.
Brand Consistency & Messaging:
Throughout all materials, I ensured that the company’s brand identity was reflected in the design elements. This included using a friendly, welcoming color palette, playful yet professional typography, and imagery that showcased families enjoying the spaces. The messaging emphasized how Family Friendly Home is uniquely positioned to create both beautiful and educational environments, blending aesthetics with functionality.
